You are the salty tears that weigh down my eyelashes
You are the iron fist that has punched a hole in me
You are the deathly cold that has stolen over my being
You are my pain...
You must be my relief.
You are the name i whisper as i close my eyes tight
Your kiss is the blade drawn over my flesh
Your scent is in the blood that pours from my body.
My bruised, broken self...
which you repaired only to smash again.

Hi BellaDonna,

I like the way you turn a phrase. Dark and packs a punch.

Thanks for sharing,
Ben.

Hi Bella Donna

Belated welcome. If you haven't done so, don't forget to give us some 'insight' to you in the introductions. We love to learn about where everyone lives.  smiley dance

An interesting look at pain and consequence. I look forward to more of your work.
