Whispers of menacing thoughts
Promise comfort in the nothing
Drifting all alone in despair as
Mingling uncertainty fills my mind
Revolving with no way out
Walls filled with eyes watch me
As I walk upon a single thread
Balancing my sanity
One thoughtless word is spoken
Severing my unsteady lifeline
Spiraling down I catch a glimpse
Of those I love and reality sets in
Do they know my greatest fear?
Tomorrow, will I take a deep breath
Or will I never breathe again?
